Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Unsymetriq (the "Service"), operated by the Unsymetriq team ("we", "us"). By creating an account or organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.

Unsymetriq connects to your organization's Google Calendar (read-only) to estimate the cost of meetings using salary-band data you provide, and presents that data through a dashboard, reports, and an optional Slack digest. Estimates are statistical and provided for informational purposes only — they are not a substitute for actual payroll or accounting records.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Organization admins are responsible for the people and salary-band data entered into the Service and for managing who on their team has access. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

New organizations receive a 14-day free trial with no payment method required. After the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription, billed through Stripe. If a trial ends without a payment method on file, or a payment fails, you'll have a grace period to add billing before access is paused. You can cancel or change plans at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

You agree not to: use the Service to store or process data you don't have the right to share; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; use the public API outside its documented rate limits; or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law.

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Cost figures shown in the Service are statistical estimates derived from available calendar and attendance data — they are not audited financial records and should not be treated as such. Attendance-data accuracy depends on factors outside our control, including the type of connected account (Google Workspace vs. a personal account), the meeting platform used, and the availability of the underlying third-party APIs (Google Calendar, Google Meet) at any given time. Where real attendance data can't be confirmed, figures are estimated from calendar invite status and scheduled time instead.

Unsymetriq provides analytical and decision-support insights, not a substitute for professional financial, accounting, or payroll advice. We disclaim liability for business decisions made based on these estimates, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or non-payment beyond the grace period. You may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
